Founders. Kurt, Trent and Hobie Long are the principal founders of BUNKR. All have an extensive background in building privacy and information security businesses. BUNKR Hires People of Integrity. BUNKR goes through serious measures to ensure its team members are of the highest competence and integrity. This includes lengthy interview processes, background checks, fact-checking and behavioral testing. BUNKR believes that our customers trust us implicitly to protect sensitive data. Pricing and Packaging. Unlike other “apps” and software packages BUNKR’s pricing allows customers full-feature access. Most “apps” today prey upon customers by getting their credit card for very basic feature use, then continually upselling customers feature by feature after securing their credit card. These same companies make canceling so painful that customers often give up or have to call their credit card companies to stop payment.

Canceling. BUNKR is aware that our “app” may not be for everyone and we respect our customers’ right to cancel. Further, in today’s world of tech companies abusing trust we are sensitive to providing multiple ways for a customer to cancel including with BUNKR itself as well as contacting us through various support methods detailed in “Getting Support”. If you purchased BUNKR directly through a business development representative with specific contractual terms, reach out through BUNKR Support or directly with your business development representative.
Getting Support. BUNKR provides several ways for our customers and interested parties to receive live human support including phone call. While the company does use “AI” to assist in various aspects of the operations of our business, we believe that our customers deserve our team’s attention when they need assistance.

Payment Storage. BUNKR does not store the credit cards or other payment methods of its customers. BUNKR accepts payment through the Apple AppStore, PlayStore and through Stripe. These platforms maintain all payment methods of our customers. We do not store credit card or payment methods.
Bots, Cybercriminals, and “Creeps”. BUNKR’s patent pending invitation-only design stops bad-actors or bots from reaching out to valid users on BUNKR. BUNKR goes to much further means to ensure our app is undesirable for bad-actors.
Data Breach Reporting. BUNKR has never been breached. The public is now aware that social media companies which provide alternatives to BUNKR publicly deny their data breaches and if they are eventually fined, simply pay the fine never taking accountability with their customers. In the unlikely event there is a data breach we will voluntarily notify our customers and work to mitigate any potential impact to them.
Encryption. Customer information and operations data is always stored encrypted within BUNKR. This includes “data at rest” and “data in motion”. There are multiple well-known encryption algorithms employed depending on the associated service. In some cases, such as password storage, multiple layers of encryption are used to encode them.
Technical Architecture. BUNKR’s cloud partner is Microsoft Azure and the company uses Azure’s advanced security features. BUNKR utilizes a “zero-trust” architecture in all aspects of securing customer data, technical infrastructure and operations. This includes accessing BUNKR internal product services.
System Integrity and Service Availability. BUNKR was built from day one in accordance with the principles of SOC 2, Type II as developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). BUNKR employed one of the very largest providers of SOC 2 Type II certifications in the world in establishing security, privacy, availability and system integrity in all aspects of its business. This includes internal operations and the security of devices used by employees in the development of BUNKR.
By making use of Microsoft Azure’s secure cloud technology BUNKR provides the highest standards of system availability including “failovers”, “backups”, audit trails and otherwise. Microsoft Azure and all third-party service providers are compliant with the highest standards of certification including SOC 2, Type II. Further, BUNKR has built application specific tools for monitoring our internal systems for uptime, additional layers of security and ensuring we are able to determine root causes of potential problems.
